Itinerary

  • Welcome to Jordan! Time to get ready for a sensory immersion into history and
    hospitality.
  • Upon arrival, trip leader will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport,
    Amman to assist you with transfer.
  • Check-in, meet your fellow adventurers, and settle into your comfortable
    accommodation.
  • In the evening, go for a stroll in the market and try the local street food.
    Overnight at Amman.
  • Post breakfast, depart to visit the town of Ajlun with its fortress; one of the best
    preserved examples of medieval Arab military architecture in the entire Middle
    East, which was once governed by Saladin.
  • Enjoy the magnificent view into the Jordan Valley.
  • Proceed to visit the Greco-Roman City of Jerash, also known as the City of the
    thousand columns.
    Jerash showcases the grandeur of Imperial Rome (and is sometimes referred to as
    the Pompeii of the East). It is considered one of the largest, and most well
    preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. As the most
    pristine Decapolis City (meaning ten cities in Greek) in the modern world, Jerash’s
    prosperity can be admired in the colonnaded main street and lovely Oval Piazza.
  • Return to Amman for a free evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel
  • After breakfast, we’ll journey to Mount Nebo, a revered holy site in Jordan where Moses is
    believed to have glimpsed the Promised Land and found his final resting place. The site boasts
    ruins from the 4th to the 6th century, with stunning mosaics still decorating the church grounds.
  • We’ll travel the King’s Highway, a historic path where traders, armies, and pilgrims once trod, part
    of the famous Silk Road.
  • Visit the Christian Town of Madaba, known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. You will be visiting the St.
    George Greek Orthodox Church, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba.
  • You will also visit the Archaeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine
    churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin.
  • Continue through Wadi Al Mujib, Jordan’s “Grand Canyon,” offering Jordan’s most breathtaking
    views for a brief stop to admire the panoramic beauty.
  • Next, we’ll head to Kerak to explore its Crusader’s Castle, showcasing architectural brilliance
    spanning Byzantine to Mamluk periods and the military prowess of the Crusaders.
  • Continue south to the hotel in Petra. Overnight at hotel
  • Post breakfast, we will start our journey to explore Petra, aptly described as the
    “Rose-Red city, half as old as time”.
  • The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a
    walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs.
  • Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra’s most famous
    monument; the Treasury. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the
    mysteries of the city.
  • Return to your hotel in Petra. Overnight at hotel
  • Post breakfast, proceed to Beida, also known as Little Petra and the place
    where the Nabateans used to entertain their guests.
  • Continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert
    and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world.
  • Enjoy a 4×4 Bedouin Jeep Tour inside the Wadi, covering its highlights.
  • Watch the most beautiful view while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea.
  • Transfer to the campsite inside the desert. Dinner and overnight at camp.
  • Post breakfast, we leave for Aqaba, Jordan’s window on the Red Sea. Enjoy a boat
    excursion including lunch on board.
  • Free day at leisure in Aqaba. Optional: You can go for scuba diving in one of the reefs
    or shipwrecks, go shopping for souvenirs, mud packs and bath salts or explore the
    chic cafe scene.
  • Overnight at hotel
  • Post breakfast, depart through Wadi Araba road to Dead Sea via Wadi Mujib.The Dead Sea, is the lowest point on the surface of the earth for a swim in its
    warm, salty waters. You can float effortlessly in its hyper-saline waters,
    renowned for therapeutic properties. Resorts offer mud treatments and spa
    experiences against a backdrop of breathtaking desert landscapes. You can
    also choose to purchase Dead Sea mud packs and sea salts available only
    here.
  • Free time at leisure at the Dead Sea resort. Overnight at hotel
  • As our once in a lifetime experience draws to a close, cherish the final

  • Plan your return flight from Amman.
