These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern bookings made with Taking You Places,
a women-only travel company founded and operated by Tanya Gupta (“Company”, “TYP”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing our website (www.takingyouplaces.co.in), making a booking, or participating
in any trip organized by Taking You Places, you (“Traveler”, “Participant”, “Client”)
agree to be legally bound by the terms set forth below.
1. Nature of Services
1.1 Taking You Places acts solely as an intermediary and tour coordinator between the Traveler and third-party service providers.
1.2 The Company does not own, operate, or control any airline, hotel, transport service, or activity provider.
1.3 All bookings are subject to the terms of respective third-party service providers.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Participation is strictly limited to women travelers.
2.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse any booking at its sole discretion.
3. Booking & Payment Terms
3.1 Booking is confirmed only upon receipt of non-refundable booking amount.
3.2 Balance payment must be made within the communicated timeline.
3.3 Failure to pay may result in cancellation without refund.
3.4 Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, taxes, supplier increases, fuel surcharges, or force majeure.
3.5 Until full payment is received, pricing may be revised.
4. Minimum Group Size
4.1 Trips are subject to minimum participants.
4.2 If minimum is not met, the Company may reschedule or cancel and refund only the received amount (excluding non-recoverable expenses).
4.3 The Company is not liable for external expenses incurred prior to official confirmation.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
- Booking amount is strictly non-refundable.
- No refund for no-shows, unused services, voluntary withdrawal, late arrival, early departure.
- Refunds processed only after receiving funds from vendors.
- Force majeure refunds subject to vendor recovery.
6. Travel Documents & Visa
- Traveler is responsible for valid passport and visa.
- Company not responsible for visa rejection or immigration denial.
- Visa fees are non-refundable.
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for international trips.
Traveler must obtain adequate coverage including medical and trip cancellation.
8. Health & Medical Disclosure
- Traveler must be medically fit.
- Pre-existing conditions must be disclosed.
- Medical assistance arranged at Traveler’s expense.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Company not liable for injury, loss, delays, disasters, pandemics, government restrictions.
- Adventure activities undertaken at own risk.
- Total liability limited to amount paid by Traveler.
10. Code of Conduct
Company may remove participants without refund for disruptive behavior, harassment, rule violations, or illegal activity.
11. Itinerary Changes
Company may modify or cancel itinerary due to operational or safety reasons.
12. Force Majeure
Company not liable for delays due to natural calamities, war, pandemics, government orders, airline shutdowns.
13. Photography & Media Consent
Traveler grants consent for marketing use of trip photos and videos.
14. Indemnification
Traveler agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from misconduct or legal violations.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement governed by laws of India. Jurisdiction: Courts in New Delhi.
16. Severability
If any provision is invalid, remaining provisions remain enforceable.
17. Acceptance
- Traveler confirms she has read and understood Terms.
- Accepts associated risks of travel.
- Agrees to be legally bound.
