Itinerary

  • Land in Sri Lanka and kick off your island escape with a
    warm welcome at the airport.
  • En route to Dambulla, visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant
    Orphanage and, if interested, stop by a Herbal Spice
    Garden.
  • Arrive in Dambulla, check in and slow things down for the
    evening.
  • Overnight stay in Dambulla.

  • Start the day with a climb up the legendary Sigiriya Rock
    Fortress for incredible views.
  • Then switch gears and experience Sri Lankan village life with
    an ox-cart ride, boat ride and cooking demonstration.
    If interested and time permits, head into the wild on a
    Minneriya Jeep Safari.
  • Overnight stay in Dambulla.

  • Road-trip towards Nuwara Eliya via Kandy and Ramboda.
  • Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, catch panoramic
    views from Kandy Viewpoint, and stop at the beautiful
    Ramboda Falls.
  • Continue to Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple before stepping
    into Sri Lanka’s famous tea country with a Tea Factory &
    Garden visit.
  • Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

  • Spend the day exploring the cool, scenic side of Sri Lanka.
  • Discover the Colonial Post Office, Seetha Amman Temple
    (Ramayana Site), Hakgala Garden (Ashoka Vatika) and
    Gayathri Temple.
  • Add a sweet stop at a Strawberry Farm before wrapping up
    the day by picturesque Gregory Lake.
  • Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

  • Leave the hills behind and make your way towards the
    coast.
  • Visit Divurumpola Temple, then choose between the
    picture-perfect Nine Arch Bridge or a trek up Mini Adam’s
    Peak.
  • Stop by the dramatic Ravana Waterfalls before continuing
    to Mirissa for a change of scenery and some serious beach
    vibes.
  • Overnight stay in Mirissa.

  • Today is all about Sri Lanka’s tropical coast.
  • Explore Parrot Rock, snap those iconic views at Coconut
    Tree Hill, and unwind at Secret Beach.
  • Later, enjoy free time to discover Mirissa’s buzzing cafés
    and restaurants (at your own expense).
  • Overnight stay in Mirissa

  • After breakfast, head to Colombo for the final chapter of
    your Sri Lankan adventure.
  • Explore Independence Square, the Old Dutch Hospital / Old
    Lighthouse area and Galle Face Green, then squeeze in
    some retail therapy at ODEL, House of Fashions, Uptown
    Kandy and other city favourites.
  • Overnight stay in Colombo.

  • Enjoy one last breakfast before checking out and heading to
    the airport as per your flight schedule.
  • Eight days of mountains, wildlife, beaches, culture and
    island adventures officially come to an end.
